Washy Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Washy ("the App") and are an agreement between you and MintSoft ("we", "us").

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The Service

The App shows weather and air-quality information from third-party sources and calculates car-wash scores, "Clean Streak" forecasts (how long a wash is likely to stay clean), best wash days and wash windows, smart alerts, and lets you keep a personal Wash Log on your device.

3. Informational Estimates Only — No Warranty

  • Scores, recommendations, alerts and forecasts are automated estimates based on third-party forecast data, which can be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. Actual weather, dust, pollen and road conditions may differ.
  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
  • You are responsible for your own decisions about when and how to wash your car, and for following local rules (for example, water-use restrictions) and the care instructions for your vehicle.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MintSoft is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the App — including damage to your vehicle (such as water spots, freezing, or paint damage), wasted car-wash costs, missed alerts, or decisions made based on the App's information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

5. License and Acceptable Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control. You may not:

  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except as permitted by law;
  • redistribute, resell or sublicense the App;
  • use the App for unlawful purposes or in a way that abuses the third-party data services it relies on.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

  • The App may offer optional paid features (for example, removing ads or premium features) as one-time purchases or subscriptions. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and is processed by Apple or Google under their terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings (iOS) or Google Play › Payments & subscriptions (Android). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. You can restore previous purchases from the App's settings.

7. Advertising

The free version of the App displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Ads are provided by third parties; we are not responsible for the content of advertisements or third-party websites they link to. Ad personalization choices are described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Your Data

Your settings and Wash Log are stored in the App's storage on your device, not on our servers (your device's own backup, if you enabled it, may keep a copy). You are responsible for your device; data can be lost if you reset data, uninstall the App or change devices, and we cannot recover it.

9. Apple Users

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails to the extent of the conflict. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, its design and content (excluding third-party data) are the property of MintSoft. Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0) and place names by OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).

11. Changes and Termination

We may update, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature. We may update these Terms; the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after that date means you accept it. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
