LuxPlan Privacy Policy
LuxPlan is made by MintSoft ("we"). This policy explains exactly what the app does with data.
Summary
- Your readings stay on your phone. Lux values, spot names, times and settings are stored only on your device. There is no account and no sign-in.
- Photos stay on this device. LuxPlan reads the camera's exposure values to estimate brightness. When you save a reading, one photo of the spot is kept inside the app on your device so the log shows where you measured. It is not added to your photo library, is never uploaded, and is deleted with its reading. No video is recorded.
- The free version shows ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID. On iPhone and iPad you are asked first (App Tracking Transparency); if you decline, or withhold consent where the law requires it, only non-personalized ads are shown. The one-time Pro purchase removes ads.

We do not sell data. Apart from the advertising ID handled by Google AdMob as described above, we do not share data for advertising or combine it with data from other companies. Personal data is sent over encrypted connections (TLS).
2. Data that stays on your device
Readings, the photo saved with each camera reading, spot names, notes, streaks, reminders and preferences. You can export them yourself (CSV or backup file); nothing is uploaded unless you share the file.
The optional web dashboard in Settings serves your readings to a browser on the same Wi-Fi network only, protected by a password you set. It is off until you turn it on.
3. Permissions
- Camera — to estimate brightness and to keep one photo of the spot with each saved reading, on this device only (see above). If you decline, you can type values by hand; those readings have no photo.
- Tracking (iPhone/iPad) — asked once, for personalized ads in the free version. Declining still lets you use every feature.
- Notifications — only for the reminders you turn on.
4. Retention
- Crash diagnostics and anonymous usage events — up to 90 days.
- Advertising data — under Google's retention policies.
- Purchase records — as long as needed to honor your purchase and meet accounting obligations.
- Support email — up to 1 year after your request is resolved.
- On-device data — until you delete it.
5. Deleting your data
- On your device: Settings → Clear App Data, or uninstall the app.
- Crash or purchase data held by our providers: email app@mint-soft.com with the subject "LuxPlan data deletion". We respond within 30 days. Purchase records that the law requires us to keep are retained only for that purpose.
6. Children
LuxPlan is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to its processing. Email app@mint-soft.com.
