Terms of Service

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ColorSnapr mobile app (the "App") published by Mint-Soft ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal and professional color work, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

Apple users: if you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). Where these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where the law allows it;
  • copy, redistribute, resell or sublicense the App, or remove our notices;
  • circumvent purchase checks, ads or other technical protections;
  • use the App, including LAN sharing, for any unlawful or harmful purpose or to access others' networks or devices without permission.

3. ColorSnapr Pro

ColorSnapr is free to download. ColorSnapr Pro unlocks additional features (such as unlimited palettes, palette export, color harmony, color match and code tools) and removes ads. Pro is offered as:

  • Monthly subscription — US$2.99 per month (auto-renewable);
  • Annual subscription — US$24.99 per year (auto-renewable);
  • Lifetime — US$6.99 one-time purchase; it does not renew.

Prices shown are US prices. Prices vary by country or region, may include taxes, and the exact price in your currency is shown in the App before you purchase. Features included in Pro may change as the App is updated.

4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and duration unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • Use "Restore Purchase" in the App to restore Pro on a new or reinstalled device using the same store account.

5. Free trials

  • App trial: new installs may receive a 7-day Pro trial provided by the App. It requires no payment information, is never charged, and ends automatically. Ads are still shown during this trial.
  • Store free trial: if a subscription offers a free trial through the App Store or Google Play, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

6. Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled under their policies. Apple: request a refund. Google Play: refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly. This does not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

7. Ads and third-party services

The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. The App also relies on third-party services as described in our Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is handled.

8. Your content

The colors, palettes and photos you create stay on your device and remain yours. You are responsible for backing them up; we cannot recover data that is deleted or lost with your device or when the App is uninstalled.

9. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, graphics and the ColorSnapr name and logo, is owned by Mint-Soft and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

10. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". Color values are measured from your camera and screen and can be affected by lighting, camera hardware, white balance and display calibration; they may not match physical colors or printed output exactly. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mint-Soft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes and termination

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after the change means you accept them. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws and courts of your country of residence.
