Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BusyTime (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and MintSoft ("we," "us," or "our"), a software developer based in South Korea. By using the App, you also confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Description of Service

BusyTime is a productivity application that enables users to automatically reject incoming phone calls during user-defined focus timer sessions. Core features include:

Focus Timer — customizable countdown and interval-based focus sessions.
Auto Call Rejection — automatic rejection of incoming calls during active sessions, with configurable exceptions for favorited contacts.
Call Log — a history of calls received and rejected during focus sessions.
Statistics — aggregated data about your focus sessions and call activity.
Premium Features — advanced timer templates, extended statistics, and ad-free experience available via subscription.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

Usage Rules

You agree to use BusyTime only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

Use the App to intercept, monitor, record, or collect communications of any person without their knowledge or consent.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to access the App in a manner that exceeds normal usage.
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App.
Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure or interfere with any other party's use of the App.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or related systems.
Use the App for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by us in writing.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your access to the App.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of BusyTime — including but not limited to the software code, design, graphics, logos, user interface, and text — are the exclusive property of MintSoft and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws in South Korea and internationally. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal device solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. No rights or licenses are granted to you except as expressly set forth herein. The name "BusyTime" and the MintSoft logo are trademarks of MintSoft and may not be used without our prior written consent.

Purchases and Subscriptions

BusyTime offers optional premium features available through in-app purchase or auto-renewing subscription ("Premium"). The following terms apply to all purchases:

Pricing — all prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase and are subject to change. Applicable taxes may apply.
Billing — subscriptions are billed through the platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) associated with your account. Payment is charged to your account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal — subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time through your platform account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
Refunds — refund requests are handled according to the refund policy of the applicable platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). MintSoft does not directly issue refunds.
Free Tier — the free version of BusyTime includes advertising served via Google AdMob. Upgrading to Premium removes ads.
Restore Purchases — you may restore previous purchases using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App settings.

Disclaimers

BusyTime is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MintSoft expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
That the App will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
That call rejection will function correctly on all devices, operating system versions, or carrier configurations. Call rejection depends on operating system-level APIs and device permissions, which may vary by device manufacturer and may change with OS updates.
That focus sessions will achieve any particular productivity outcome.

You acknowledge that automatic call rejection may prevent you from receiving emergency or time-sensitive calls. You are solely responsible for configuring exceptions appropriately and for ensuring you remain reachable in situations where that is necessary.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MintSoft, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with:

Your use of or inability to use the App.
Any missed calls, including emergency calls, that occur during an active focus session.
Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
Any conduct or content of any third party in connection with the App.

In no event shall MintSoft's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to MintSoft in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $10. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your rights under these Terms terminate automatically and without notice if you breach any provision herein. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies from your devices. MintSoft may also, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall survive.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that mandates local law protections, those protections are not waived by this clause to the extent applicable law prohibits such waiver.
